Fabulous learning experience
Thank you Snow King Gulmarg for the fantastic ski lessons. It was most joyful to see our 5 year old ski. Thank you Bashir, Irshad, Zaid and I’m sure I’m missing some names, but thanks to the courteous team for a great time on the slopes. The communication with Snow King was perfect and we weren’t surprised by any hidden costs. Brilliant instructors and great overall experience
We had a wonderful experience learning skiing with Snow Kings. They're technically sound and have better teaching methods compared to other instructors we saw on the slopes. I started skiing with Snowkings Gulmarg in February 2020. It was for 5 days and I was practicing parallel turns from phase 1 on the 5th day.My interest grew in backcountry skiing so I was taught about avalanche education too.Now, this year I was with Snowkings for 2 months. My love for skiing made me bought my own freeride skies. I started from baby slope, highland slope, 85 slope, phase 1, chairlift, phase 2 and eventually progressed to pure backcountry routes which was my aim. Before going to backcountry we used to do Extended column test(to check snow slab stability), beacon test and Avalanche education.We were equipped with shovel, probe, walkie talkie, transceiver, helmet.I was able ski down one of the highest point ie., Shark fin where the slope angle is ~45°-60°. Also, to mention I skied down from 8 different routes excluding phase 2 main ridge route. All thanks to Snowkings.I feel privileged to have learned under the guidance of worthy Instructors.I was only able to achieve rhythm and do backcountry skiing because of the professional instruction I got from my instructors at Snowkings Gulmarg.They are highly honest, professional, experienced and I would say master in skiing. Snowkings is one spot shop for skiing without any doubt. They are best. I coming again with them next season.Definitely, I will recommend Snowkings to people who really want to learn skiing or snowboarding and feel the sport spirit. You can depend on them."What I have learned so far is that it doesn't matter from where you ski down. Thing matters is how well you are skiing down. Skiing should be elegant, classy!" The Absolute Best in The Business
When it come to Skiing and Snowboarding, these guys are intructors par excellence. Irrespective of your skiing or boarding experience (or complete absence of it) they will patiently teach and guide with absolute dedication. They know the mountains like the back of their hand and will gladly take you to the wild slopes if you are up to it. Shafat in addition to being a marvellous teacher will also take care of your stay and lodging in addition to all necessary gear and safety equipment as part of a complete package if required. Skiing with snowkings Gulmarg - one of the best experiences I have had !!
Learning skiing with snowkings was nothing less than one of the finest experiences I have had. They are really some of the best trained professionals and put every effort to make sure we keep on improving our game (one on one instructor mapping for every learner). Having said that what set out our experience apart the most was the personal touch we developed over the course. We had our sessions of laughters, lively banters along with some intense training. A special mention of GULZAR SIR, who is a veteran. This man takes intense pride in teaching and is one of the most humble and grounded person you will meet. It was nothing less than absolute privilege do learn from him.Initially we planned to learn Skiing for 5 days but off course ended up making it 7. Would have love to extend more but well, A corporate Job huh !! Nevertheless, now I know very well where I am going to be next winters and winters after that and after that.... :)If you’re a bit serious about learning Skiing, Jump in right away. The best Skiing instructors in Gulmarg
They are the absolute best in what they do. Gulzar Bhai, Bashir Bhai, Wasim Bhai, Basharat, Shafaat all of them are amazing instructors and are personally involved throughout the process to make sure that you learn. They took care of the stay, meals and transportation from the start to the beginning and made the whole process seamless. Skiing with the King's!
Snowkings are the best in Gulmarg I would say! 🤘🏻😎 Shafat at Snowkings is a very professional and skilled instructor who I was very lucky to train with. Before Snowkings, I did a basic skiing course (from some other institute) for  14 days but I just learned to stand on the skiis there. Within the first day of training with Snowkings, I was able to do long parallel turns directly from snow plough turns 😬Their way of instruction is very proper and easy to understand. On the second day of my training, I could skii down from the gondola phase 1 and that was very thrilling experience 😁I also learned snow profiling at Snowkings, which is very important if someone has to go back country skiing. Bilal is also one top talented instructor at Snowkings who has won several medals in state and national skiing events. I got to train with for a day or two and got to learn from him as well. The accomodations provided by them is in a beautiful 3star hotel with amazing food and amenities. The instructors are top-notch and skiing professionals.All in all, I would suggest Snowkings for the best skiing experience in Gulmarg. Thanks to Shafat and Bilal for their guidance and friendly behavior. Brilliant Instructors who go an extra mile
These guys are magicians on the slopes. The sport is intense but these guys make it a breeze. They helped me improve my skiing and conquer my fear of going to the next level. The best part was how genuinely concerned they were about improving my game without compromising on my safety on the slopes. They were always there when I needed them and got a lot of tips throughout my 7 days of training with them. I trained with Bilal who is a national level ski champ and awesome instructor. Outstanding Ski and Snowboard Instructors
Travelled with my 16 year old son and his friend for an 8 day trip as complete novices starting on the bunny slopes. After day 3 we were parallel turning on phase 1! Unfortunately the chairlift wasn't operational on the last day, else we had the confidence to tackle that on day 7. Truly remarkable training...my son on the snowboard was receiving compliments from veterans who thought he'd been boarding for years. All our requirements were taken care of from accommodation, transportion, equipment (top notch) and instruction.Shafat, Gulzar, Basharat, Zahoor, Jehangir and Bashir, all superb individuals...Passionate about teaching the sport that they love, patient with the numerous errors one makes along the way, and above all sticklers for safety. We were treated like family and it was an emotional farewell at the end of the trip.Whether one is a novice, an experienced skiier looking to hone their skills or an adventurous boarder looking for backcountry guides... Snowkings are where it's at!We'll be back next season for sure, after all, one can't stay away from family for too long.
